Re-order point planning scenario

I used the Re-order planning with "External" Requirement and it works as desired for the "Finished material"

The ROP 100.

Stock: 110

S.O qty : 20

Net qty= ( 110-20) = 90.  (The Cust.order net with the stock)

Since 90< 100 (ROP) it planned 10 nos.(Planned order)

----------------------------------------------------------------

Q: Could we make the "Dependent requirement of component"   net with stock and when the net qty < ROP , create a planned order .. (i.e)work the same way as above?

Hi, When you say net with stock is that for FG or for the compoenent. I don't think you can plan component in relation to FG stock. Thanks Kishan

I am saying that for "Component" , Does it work the same way where the requirement here is "Dependent req" instead of cust.reqt.

Net qty= ( 110-20) = 90.  (The dependent req net with the stock)

Since 90< 100 (ROP) it planned 10 nos.(Planned order)

The ROP 100.

Stock: 110

Dependent qty := 20 (For component)

Hi,

In manual reorder point planning MRP did not consider any dependent requirements and hence no additional PR is generated.

can you refer below document all scenario has been documented in this document.

Thanks & Regards
