Hello,

When using SAP Rep Server with  multisite availability, assuming we have on source and 2 destinations db's and there is the need for replicating  ddl fom the source, is it necessary to set "ddl in tran" at the replicated db's in the MSA?

Thank you.

Regards

Jose

When RS DSI sends the commands (batched) it wraps in a begin tran ... commit / rollback depending on success or failure.

So if DDL ( on source ) is replicated in the same way inside a transaction on target, will you not need the DB option to allow "ddl in tran" ?

Also note that unlike DML which is executed by maintenance user (usually aliased as dbo),  DDL is executed with orginal login name.
