BSEG-GSBER FIELD

IS IT POSSIBLE TO UP DATE BSEG TABLE FOR FIELD GSBER (BUSSINESS AREA).

SUPPOSE , WE HAVE DOCUMENT WITH 4 LINE ITEMS. TWO OF THE LINE ITEMS ARE UPDATED  WITH GSBER  BUT REMAINING TWO LINE ITEMS ARE NOT UPDATED WITH GSBER.  IS THERE ANY TOOL OR PROGRAME TO UPDATE THE REMAING TWO ENTRIES FOR GSBER...

I TRIED BUT NOT ALLOWING THROUGH CODE...

Hello,

BSEG is a standard SAP table, so no you cannot update that table by ABAP code.

Are you able to change it thru FB02 or FB09, did you look in SPRO for 'Document Change Rules, Line Item', or did you find OSS note 40659 - Can GSBER be changed?

It should generally not be possible to change the GSBER field.
