In HANA Developer Guide it is mentioned that one can download the XS CLI tools from HANA server. Where can I find it in HXE?

Hi Helmut,

If you install HXE with XSA, you will have XS Cli tools.

Thank you!

Of course they are available on hxehost but it's also possible to download them to my local computer, install them there and connect to xs aka Cloud Foundry remotely.

I want to know where I can find the zip file mentioned in HANA Developer Guide

Hi Helmut,

By "HANA Developer Guide", do you mean SAP note 2242468 (https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/0002242468) ?  If not, could you please point to the specific location?

I don't think HXE packages the installation image for XS client. You may download xs client from SAP market place. I will email you the internal nexus location for downloading XS client as well.

Thanks!

with HANA Developer Guide I mean this PDF.

At page 53 under prerequisites you can read that one can download the xs.onpremise.runtime.client_<platform>-<version>.zip from the HANA server.

My question was: Where can I find it?

Of course I can download the tools from SMP but HXE is publicly available and therefore it should be possible to get everything running without having a user for SMP.
