KF Disaggregation Expression Based on Previous Year

Hi,

We are trying  to disaggregate Budget qty based on Actuals qty. Budget Qty is at week level and Actuals qty is at day level.

We created a Z KF which is at week base planning level and made it equal to actuals qty prior year at week level.

Once we defined Z KF as disaggragtion expression for Budget Qty, we thought that it should work since the base planning levels of diaggreagtion KF and Budget Qty is now at week level.

However, Budget Qty being an editable KF is not getting edited and giving error in refresh sheet.

Is anyone aware of using disaggregation expression that gave similar issue and how can we resolve this issue?

I think the ZKF is a calculated key figure. If yes, that could be reason of the error in refresh sheet. The following is mentioned in the release restriction note too.

Key Figures in the disaggregation expressions should be stored key figures and at the same base planning level as the Key Figure to which it is applied (defined for).

• If a key Figure needs to be disaggregated based on a calculated KF, use Advance Simulation operator or Copy Operator to copy the calculated value to stored KF that can be used in disaggregation expression
