Migration of Business Suite on HANA to S/4 HANA Finance 1503 - Group Currency Activation

We have a scenario wherein a Client wants to migrate from Business Suite on HANA to S/4HANA Finance 1503  or 1605.

The client for the US based company codes has nor activated Group Currency.

1. I understand that activating group currency in productive client needs to be a SAP SLO service

2. SAP has stated in various documents that activation of Group Currency is not a pre-requisite for 1503 or 1605 migration from SOH

Does an one know if SAP has a defined path of activating the group currency after migrating to 1503 or 1605?

In my opinion it's better to activate it before migration(ofcause via SLO).I'm not sure if this service is available for S4, but anyway SLO has more experience iand finished projects in R3
