JDBC receiver adapter cannot establish connection with database

HI Experts,

We are trying to post data into a Database through PI and i am getting an error in AE.

Delivering the message to the application using connection JDBC_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: Error when attempting to get processing resources: com.sap.aii.af.lib.util.concurrent.ResourcePoolException: Unable to create new pooled resource: DriverManagerException: Can not establish connection:: SQLException: Io exception: The Network Adapter could not establish the connection.

Please suggest what can be the possible reasons.

Hi Ajinka,

Talk with the DB if the DB listener is up and if they have any restriction or IP filter to access to the DB.

Hi Mohit,

Also check at receiver system network team, we have to provide our PI Server hostname/IP Address to them, so they will allow network traffic from PI system.

it might be due to firewall issue, check with your network team to enable the JDBC server port.
