Functionality of CORUPROC1

Dear Techies,

We are using Program CORUPROC1 as a part of a Scheduled Job. I did a quick investigations on this subject and understood that it is related to the Confirmation of the Production orders at Operation level.

But I would like to understand exactly what it does in the Background. Does this Program actually does the Confirmation in the system? Also would like to understand does the CORUPROC1 program create the Idoc type "PPCC2PRETTICKET"?

The confirmation is send to system via IDoc. If the Idoc is send successfully to system, the IDoc get status 53. This mean the confirmation data from IDoc is transfered correctly. After this the data is stored in an internal table. No Confirmations so far.

Next step is that this entries are saved as confirmations. For this CORUPROC1 is used, this report is scheduled from you, or start from system based on customizing. You can simulate it manually in CO1L here you see the records if you select and post it do the same as CORUPROC1.
