SAP TREX Connector is not enabled

Hi Experts,

We have installed the TREX for material search on MDG 8.0 Product, but when i am trying to enabled the connector, that option was grayed out.

It seems memory issue, RAM Size: 8 GB.

Can you confirm on this.

Hi Karthik,

Is your TREX instance up and running ?

Is RFC from MDG to Trex working fine ?

Have a look to below link which can give some direction of Trex on MDG 8.0

Also check below

SAP Reference IMG -> SAP Netweaver -> Search -> Embeded Search -> TREX -> Set TREX Destination (or directly using transaction ESH_ADM_TREX_DEST)

Run transaction ESH_IMG and navigate into the common settings. Have a look for the Embedded Search specific task lists

SAP_ESH_INITIAL_SETUP_000_CLIENT and

SAP_ESH_INITIAL_SETUP_WRK_CLIENT

if they are maintained properly
