Example of an critical Pricing procedure is as under:

Base Price

Ammortization (Statistical for calculation of Excise)

Freight

<b>Gross price for Calculation of Excise Duty</b>

Excise Duty

Education Cess on Excise Duty

<b>Sum of Excise Duty+Education Cess</b>

Copy of Base Price

Copy of Freight

<b>Price after calculation of Excise Duty+Education Cess for calculation of VAT or CST</b>

Vat

CST

<b>Net Price after taxes</b>

In the above, critical is Ammortization is required for calculation of Excise Duty & it is statistical. Hence we require to do a copy of Base Price & Frieght for final calculation.

The above is an indicative of critical pricing pricedure. But in general all pricing procedure are critical because if calculation logic is not set right, it will lead to wrong pricing.
