SQL error code 314 in VA01

Hi expert,

When a create a SO (VA01) with a total net price above 1.000.000.000,00, i have a dump with the following error.

SQL error "SQL code: 314" occurred while accessing table "VBAK".

Database error text: "SQL message: numeric overflow: the precision of the

decimal value is larger than the target precision: 6: type_code=5, index=135"

But when i create an Offer (VA21) with the same value i have no Dump.

I don't understand why i have the dump because both transaction use VBAK table.

This is likely an application level error. When the target ABAP field in the underlying report is not large enough, the value cannot be fetched back from HANA.

Please have a support incident opened for that.
