C++ dependencies Requirement

I've asked this question before when Support Pack 16 & 17 came out.

Has the VC 2005 C++ dependencies been removed from the Support Pack 18 update?

I've been on hold for nearly a year to update some software, but it cannot be loaded due to VC 2005 C++ dependencies is no longer supported by Microsoft.

Hi Raymond, funny you asked... I just pinged DEV to get an update on the progress of removing that dependency and.....

No, not yet, most of the BOE 4.2 products have been updated to the VS 2015 compiler but CR for VS has not be done yet.

They are almost done for BOE 4.2 and when that happens then CR for VS will be updated as well and we will remove the dependency on that file.
