Attendees and Assignees sync between GWI and SAP CRM

Hi All,

We recently installed and implemented Client GWI 10.30.03 with SAP CRM 7.0 EHP3.

Contact, Appointment and Tasks sync up is working fine between Outlook and SAP CRM.

I though have a question of attendees sync up for Appointment :

When I add attendees on an appointment from SAP CRM , the attendees information should show up under "Business Information " in Outlook but it doesn't come over in Business information or under notes in outlook.

I am aware attendees sync up from Outlook->CRM is not a fucntionality in GWI.

Can anyone advise what is missing to bring attendees sync from CRM->Outlook ?

Same for Task. does assignee information from Outlook to SAP CRM sync at all ?

Also from SAP CRM-> Outlook the assignee information as per SAP should show under business information but it does not .

Any inputs please will be very helpful.

Hi All,

I just wanted to share that I was able to figure out on the attendee synchronization.

You need to add the parameter-

ACTIVITYUSERFIELDS  - put value ATTENDEES (to display attendees)

ATTENDEESUSERFIELDDATA- put value FULLNAME (To display name of attendees)

However I still have open question on :

• Is there a partner function for task assignee which I can use to assign task assignee from SAP CRM ?

• Does appointment with attendees from Outlook synchronizes to SAP CRM ? The reasoin i ask is because when one tries to add attendees on an appointment on Outlook , it changes to a "Meeting " . So I am wondering will a meeting (Appointment with Attendees) sync at to SAP CRM ?
