ITSM Documentation for SAP Solution Manager 7.2

Hello,

I am installing a new system with SAP Solution Manager 7.2.

I successfully passed the first 3 mandatory steps - System Preparation, Infrastructure Preparation, Basic Configuration.

Now I need to configure ITSM, but I can't find any guide.

I can't fully understand the steps in the IT Service Management  Scenario

Please provide some implementation steps and information on basic terms , like transaction type and so on....

Hi Ilian,

we have dedicated wiki which you can check below for both.

However, there is not much major differences in 7.1 and 7.2 from ITSM perspective except the fiori part and thus, you can refer this documentation to setup in your system.

it is crm 7.0 ehp1 to crm 7.0 ehp3 upgrade from Solman 7.1 to Solman 7.2 respectively, thus it is more of ehp upgrade for CRM perspective so you have got some new enhanced features in 7.2.

you can further run the solman_setup ITSM scenario and relevant step documentation will assist you further.

I can't find any file on my disk, and also cannot access any link. It was long ago....

I even tried my SAP Partner S-user - also useless....

In case, you have a specific doubt then definitely we will be able to help u much better.

Regarding steps in solman_setup....every step is not mandatory and you also have documentation for each of them so please check if clarifies and assist in meeting your requirement.

https://training.sap.com/shop/learninghub -> Discover for free -> register your suser -> it will take some time to activate the account and get the mail confirmation -> then you can able to access the links

Also for ekt solman access also need the SAP learning hub logon credential.

Hi again,

In my country (Bulgaria) the link https://training.sap.com/shop/learninghub works only if I go to https://training.sap.com first, and tell that my country is India

I registered myself with my S-user, than assigned the S-user to my account, got confirmation mails for that.

Still I can't download or find the documents.

If possible, send them to - i.grigorov at is-bg.net

It seems they are not secret.
