Hi,
Currently we do not have provision in IBP to automatically schedule jobs including chain of various processes like combination of copy operators, HCI jobs etc. This kind of functionality is available in APO in form of process chain.
Please suggest if there is a way to build this kind of process in IBP.
regards,
Mohit
Hi,
scheduling of job chains is possible from IBP 1608 (6.3) onwards (maybe earlier - not sure) via the Application Jobs app on the WebUI.
Take a look at the docu that describes the steps:

Hi Mohit,
You can use various copy operators in a group operator. Then schedule jobs including chain of various processes like combination of copy operators.Hope this answers your query.

Group operator are nice, but you cannot cover all planning operator by that, plus you can only run in sequence.
So this definetly does not replace RSPC functionality
But with the job scheduling, you can schedule all kind of jobs such as planning operators or HCI load in an order and schedule them with singular or repetetive resurrence
What is not yet possible, however, is scheduling jobs in parallel within one job chain, e.g. after one step two other steps start in parallel and when both are ready another one starts.
