BC_SBAL Retention period

Hello,

Has anyone had any knowledge on what the Residency and Retention period for BC_SBAL Archiving Object - BALDAT & BALHDR. I know it is related to each company policies. What I am looking for is an industry standard or SAP recommended.

Please advise.

nobody will ever take responsibility for information which has to meet the legal requirements of hundreds of countries. You have to obtain those legal requirements from the countries where you have plants

The DSAG (German speaking SAP user group) had compiled a document during a workshop in 2008 and updates it when new information is available.

BC_SBAL is classified with "longest retention period" - which is at least 10 years in Germany.
