Junk Chinese Characters on RF device

Hi Expert,

We have the below issue and need your help.

One of our Chinese client is using third party WMS system with RF interface. Now they are migrating to SAP WM .

The RF device supports the Chinese language, as they are currently using today .

When we want to integrate the RF devices(Character based)  with SAP WM , we have issues on the Chinese translation of RF menus. The connection between SAP Console and RF device is achieved through Telnet server. 

We have configured the RF menus in SAP and maintained it's Chinese translation . When we log in using SAP GUI with Chinese log on language , the Chinese characters are displayed  as appropriate (Transaction code LM01)

But when we connect the RF device to the SAP and log into the RF device , the RF menu display the Chinese translation with junk characters.

As the translation is good in SAP GUI , I am not able to figure out the root cause.

Please let me know if any of you had similar issue

You most likely have a code-page issue on the SAPConsole settings Configuring Console Settings - Standalone SAPConsole 7.10 - SAP Library or this could also be a code page issue on the server itself or the Telnet Server you are using.
