we have the requirement to send encrypted e-mails out of the AS ABAP's e-mail server.
We do not want to encrypt mails via an e-mail proxy, encryption should be done by the AS ABAP itself.
According to SAP Help (Configuring E-Mails with S/MIME (AS ABAP E-Mail Server) - System Security for SAP NetWeaver Applicat...) this should be possible.
Unfortunately, we have a lot of certificates for receivers that we would have to import.
Therefore we want to use BADI SMIME_EMAIL for retrieval, but we have found only little documentation for it.
Has anyone used or implemented this BADI?
Do we have to use it or is any other workaround for retrieving recipient's certificates?
