Hi ,

I have issue in prd server 600 client we cannot able to login sap* user id kindly reply valuable solution

i can i reset the password , iam using sql 2005 database.

2 scenarios:

1. The user exists in SU01

2. The user does not exist in SU01

If it's scenario 1, simply go to SU01, make sure validity date is correct, that it is a dialog user, and reset the password.

If it's scenario 2(which is more probable), then you have to change the profile parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar to 0, restart, and then login with the password "pass" excluding the quotation marks.

It's advisable to change this back to 1 once you're done with using sap*, as you shouldn't leave it open, leaves too much security risk since everyone can google this password.
