HANA Express on VirtualBox?

Has anyone managed to get HXE running successfully on VirtualBox?

I can import the HXE.OVA file just fine into VirtualBox. But when I attempt to launch the VM, it starts to boot SUSE Linux but then gets somehow stuck at the point where it seems to be initialising some VMWare Tools?

I've tried all kinds of configuration settings for the VM - Also tried reimporting it but I just cannot get it to boot properly on VirtualBox.

Using VMWare Player, the HXE.OVA works perfectly fine but I would much prefer to use VirtualBox instead.

Has anyone ran into this problem before?

Hello Everyone,

A new version of HANA express was posted couple of days ago, which includes support for Virtual Box. Please try it out with a recent version of Virtual Box.

Hi Erik,

I also tried removing VMware tools before converting to both Virtualbox and Parallels. Still wouldn't start up so it looks like a wait for the fix.
