Change the inspection stock of Material in QM only: Message no: QA495

Hello Experts,

While moving Quality stock into unrestricted stock with 321, movement type, below error is coming.

This is customer return material and movement type 655 was used.

Appreciate if you can help how to move this stock to unrestricted.

Hello Shailesh,

As you have enabled the 06 inspection type in the material master hence system has generated the inspection lot during customer returns

if inspection lot exist in QA32 system will not allow you to transfer the material from QI to Unrestricted manually

so please assign the inspection plan details through QA02  for the inspection lot then the lot status will become REL then clear the lot with UD and transfer the stock from QA32

Hi Shailesh,

This is standard behavior of SAP system. Inspection lot is created for Movement type 655. Clear this lot by giving UD and while doing UD post the stock to unrestricted use.

MB1B will not be use full here because QM is active here.

Dear Anarnath,

Since inspection lot is in created state, UD is not allowing to post. How to post UD in this case !

Hi Shailesh,

Inspection lot status is CRTD . Please assign the inspection plan to change the inspection lot Status from CRTD to REL.

1. Create the Inspection Plan using QP01.

2. Assign the Inspection plan to inspection lot using QA02 & Calculate the sample size.
