How to insert Front-End Editor (New) option

I'm using SAP GUI 7.40 on Mac.

How can i set the option Front-End Editor (New) on my ABAP editor, in order to have auto-complete and highlighted text?

Unfortunately the "new" ABAP Editor is only available in SAP GUI for Windows, see https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/843289

You might want to consider using ABAP in Eclipse.
