Sales Document VC Characteristics

We have a configurable product and use the Variant Configurator in the quoting process. I need to create a report that shows the relevant VC questions and responses during the quoting process -- this based on a production order or sales document. I'm having no luck in finding a FM to get the info -- hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

Hi Greg-You can use the module VC_I_GET_CONFIGURATION (loading characteristic value assignment) in your programs. If, however, you only want to display the information on the database (that is, no object dependencies are processed, the interface design is not taken into account), we recommend that you use the module VC_I_GET_CONFIGURATION_IBASE instead. You can also use this module in user exits within the configuration. However, the VC_I_GET_CONFIGURATION function module cannot be used in user exits because it initializes internal tables and thus leads to errors (Note 460106).
