hi ,
What is the standard procedure to upgrade a running production SAP HANA One 244GB (launched from AWS marketplace), version 1.00.095.00 to the latest available version ?
Hello RB,
Which type of access you have to the HANA instance using this AWS service?
Can you connect at the operating system level using root (or sudo) or have only the JDBC ports enabled?
If you can access the OS you can upload the SAP medias (por last SPS and Revision patch) and perform the update using hdblcmgui + Xwindows or another tool.
For newest versions I think that we can use the Lifecycle Management option on HANA Studio. All steps are performed by the tool (check versions, downloads, etc). I´m not sure if SP9 supports this feature.
As suggested, check the installation/ update guide. For test purposes you can enable another instance and run the tests there. This is a great advantage of AWS infrastructure.

Rodrigo.

Hi again,
I checked the AWS marketplace. A SAP One HANA instance running SPS11 is already available.
It is not clear but I think that you can ask then to perform the upgrade.
AWS Marketplace: SAP HANA One 244GB
The One support can be achieved by using an SCN comunity:
