NWDS asking for ADM password while connecting to Netweaver server

Hi Experts,

I am trying to connect to Netweaver server(7.5) from NWDS (7.5) ,but it is asking for ADM or OS level user credentials(Attached Screenshot ) which Basis team is little hesitant .

I did few workarounds as  mentioned in other forums

1. Enabled the port number for firewall

2. Changed the SDeafult to Default  as suggested below "As my basis team does not like to issue such data to the development team, the corresponding property "service/protectedwebmethods" in the default profile "DEFAULT.PFL" was changed from the default "SDEFAULT" to "DEFAULT". After that, the problems were solved."

But nothing seems to work . Looking for your help

Hi Kishore,

Check this sap note 2088024 - OS Logon to SAP JEE Host popup in NWDS

Edit this file: ..\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\profile\DEFAULT.PFL and correct the corresponding line to look like this: 
"service/protectedwebmethods = SDEFAULT -ParameterValue"
Restart the service (below).


Restarting the service:
from command line by executing ..\usr\sap\<SID>\<Instance>\exe\sapcontrol -nr <instance number> -function RestartService [-user <OS user> <password>]

nope it didn't work.Finally logged in using ADM credentials .
