Hello

You are trying to multiply Keyfigure with a string attribute. It seems the error is due to string datatype of the attribute.

"type error in expression evaluator;"

Can you check if the AB3 can be created as Key figure and then use it in the calculation?

Thanks

Hello,

The objective is not to use attribute as KF but use attribute itself.SAP model config guide say attribute can be used in KF calculations so it should work.AB3 is of the type VARCHAR so may be that is the issue but if I make it as decimal then it does not allow to select AB3 in Planning level.

Hello

You can use the varchar attributes in the calculation expression. I don't think that you can use them in the mathematical functions.  You cannot select decimal attributes in the planning level and they have to be defined as attribute as KFs.

Thanks

If you see Model config guide 6.1 , it has attribute used in mathematical expression of calculation.
