Standard Customs Broker Interface Solution

Hello Forum,

I was looking for information on any standard Customs Broker Interface solution that is provided by SAP in GTS version 10.1.

(Please note- I am not referring to the ABI certification)

I wanted to verify if SAP has indeed come up with any standard solution for Customs Broker Interface that could be used worldwide containing different pre-set communication standards/methods?

As far as I know there is no such solution available in V10.1 nor did I see such a standard solution as part of V11. Mostly this is achieved by enhancements where in we communicate with the customs broker either through XML, IDOC etc.

However would highly appreciate if anyone can educate me further on this.

Hi Abhijit,

For customs broker in version 10.1, I created custom BADI implementation on EXEC_METHODCALL_PPF. There was no standard solution available for this. Moreover, the structure of data that has to be sent to broker may vary for each broker and hence I think there cannot be a standard structure created for brokers.
