How to handle huge data from data base using JDBC adapter

Hi All,

I want to do one scenario i.e JDBC to Proxy scenario. The data is in SQL data base, that data fetch from SQL data base to SAP.In that data base  huge amount of data is there already, that means from the last 10 to 12 years of the data is there in that (mostly in crore records). And also the data continuously coming into data base there is no cuttoff. This is a some production related data....

1). How we can get that huge data through JDBC?

2). Is there any server hanging will come when the data processing?

3). How much data we can handle through PI

3). if there then what is the solution?

Kindly suggest me ....
