Hello Experts,

Good Day!! I am getting the following error in java stack

Transmitting the message to endpoint <local> using connection SOAP_http......System failed, due to: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.RetryControlException: Channel stopped by administrative task

Tried a lot to figure out the root cause but was unable to do so. Can you please let me know the root cause of this error?

Before starting the channel cross the details with production ,usually channels are stopped when the details are same for Test and Production environment to avoid issues and not a good idea to start them back.

Go to communication channel monitoring and start the channel.

You channel is stopped tats why this error.

yes.This is because of channel being stopped.

But channel could be stopped because of ATP or by mistake.
