Change GTS Packaging Data

Hi Team,

for the customs air shipment issue,We have to change the GTS Packaging data from DR-Drum to PX-Pallet of a FTO and adjust the number of packages related to Pallets accordingly.

Could you please guide me how to do this .

Hello Santosh,

This should be done on the ERP-Side in the shipment. IMHO, only customs related data should be maintained in GTS, if the declaration is created from a pro-forma invoice. The change in packaging data due to change in shipping mode is the responsibility of the logistics department and should be changed in the shipment.

My apologies for not providing you with the answer you were looking for, but when changes are being made in GTS and not in the ERP, that's an audit issue. Those should be kept to a minimum.
