Enable Email Notifications in IDM 8.0 - No Email

Hi Friends,

i have configured IDM 8.0 and configured  notification as per guide but no emails are coming on password change or any other event, i have tested my Linux server and server able to send mail via sendmail command.

i feel i am missing something no notification mail jobs triggering.

can you please help me friends ?

Did you configured also all the other constants?

To test the general mail traffic you could create a new pass and execute a custom "uSendSMTPMessage" command using a script. So you already eliminate the introduction and parameter part between IDM and mail server.

Hello,

Using the test on the notification process will not work, you need to create one and run a custom script with the "uSendSMTPMessage" funtion.

Can you also confirm the template are available in the Admin UI under "massage templates" - "MX_SAP_PF" as in screeshot below?

Hi,

password reset has a separate setting.

You might include the notification there on successful execution - but you need to do the password reset task following the doucmentation first.

I have did more research and I found that this issue only with RDS SAPC package, without this I am getting email on normal form password reset.
