Hello,
We are trying to configure, to archive and retreieve the Print/Spool requests. For the time being we are using the local file system as a storage.
Could you please share with me, If you know how to configure the Archive - Print List?
Thank you,
Nikee
Hi Nikee,
As i know, to archive print lists, you need either an external storage system or you need to configure SAP Content server. How did you manage to archive print lists into file system?
Here is the link from sap help for customizing print lists:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_47x200/helpdata/en/46/96a239cec06b40e10000000a11402f/frameset.htm
Basically you have the following steps for customizing:
1. Create an CPIC user for communication (SU01). Maintain an RFC destination of type 'T' (only if using RFC for communcation with external storage system) (SM59)
2. Create an Archive Device (SPAD)
3. Define a content repository (OAM1)
4. Create a global document type (OAC2)
5. Link the document type to the content repository(OAC3)
After customizing, you can run the report which you want to store as print list, then use the option archive instead of print.
You can also have a look at this document. It also contains other info than just print lists, but you can have an idea how to customize if you see the 'customizing the 4.6C system.

Hope this helps,
