Where else can I put the pay load other than a location on the server

Hello Friends

In my previous job, I used to put the pay load on a specific location on XI server.

I want to know for testing purpose, can I put it on my PC and play with it.

Basically, I want to create a simple XML file on my PC and then do the designing and configuration so that this file can be picked up and update my ABAP stack.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

hi,

sure you can put it one you computer

just install FTP server on your local machine

and make sure XI will be able to access it

it's the easiest way (via FTP)

So after doing that all I have to do is to put the path name with the complete directory and file info, in the source directory on the Integration Directory side, while doing configuration..Right?

then in the communication channel in directory you need

to put :

server ip - your IP

folder - folder on your computer
