Directory Migration Tool - Configuration Part

Hi PI Experts,

Under the configuration part of Directory Migration Tool (PI 7.5), we are using Renaming Rules option for Value Map category. This is to replace the names of communication channel/Business components during the process of Scenario migration.

Since we need to change the names for many channels/BC, the Import from File option need to be used. How to use this feature and what is the format of the file to be imported? Has anyone faced the similar kind of situation?

Already referred the document and regarding the Import from file option, it is not explained in detail.

Hi Baskaran,

You can upload file in text format. And the data should be in the below format.

Eg: name=renamingname(save it in notepad and uplaod it)

GenerateReceiverChannel=SOAP_XI_Receiver

xyz=abc

cdf=mnp
