How do i check R3 system Availabilty at OS level?

Hello,

Is there any command or utility to check the status of the R3 system?

This command or tool needs to be run at OS level and give me the status of R3 system(Similar to tp tool).

To give you an example i am looking for command/tool similar to oracle's tnsping command.

Hi Ram,

Use "dpmon" to check the work process status of the R/3 system.

But i am looking for more powerful command which should physically login to the system and exit out.

Hello

In the Installation CD of SAP, there is a directory rfcdsk. Inside, it exists a tool called sapinfo which is available for multiple OS and which permits to test the availability of the systems given in parameters.
