NWDS 7.5 -Unsupported JVM error

Hi All, i tried to install the NWDS but getting unsupported JVM error .  Please find the attached screenshot . I have both JDK and JRE installed  of version jdk1.8.0_101 however it takes by default reference of jre1.8.0_101 folder instead of jdk1.8.0_101. Thanks, Kishore K V

Hi Kishore,

You need to go to the eclipse folder open eclipse.ini file and add the below entry with jdk path and run the eclipse.

Thanks Praveen . Its working fine now . Earlier i tried put the same cmd under the open file bit it didnt work.

Hi Praveen , I am new to NWDS IDE . On the first it looks to be normal eclipse .Do i have download any additional jar or how to verify meaning simple checks .

Hi Kishore,

You no need to download anything, you can connect to PI using NWDS. Search in SCN you will find more documents which explains how to connect to PI from NWDS.
