Can anybody suggest a good database tool for SAP ASE 16.0? Is there anything from SAP? I found this product Aqua Data Studio from www.aquafold.com and was wondering if there are other tools there I can evaluate.
Hi Marita,
What you mean by "database tool" ?
Is that something that can automate your dba activities or a dash board which can provide you the current system snapshot or something else ?
1. How about "dbacockpit" ?
2. As a DBA's we all have our own custom scripts which can pull out some reports for analysis

DBArtisan ( Embarcadero )
If you are commnd line person then SQSH (free) but some effort needed to get it working !

There are very little true IDEs for ASE (it would be great if there were).
Aqua is the best development tool I've found - it connects directly to subversion and allows stepping through stored procs line by line. (Its also a tenth of the price of Artisan).
If you find products offering more than that - let me know - I'd love an IDE
