No TAB IN MD04 Planned order conversion to PR

HI Team,

we are facing issue like not getting PR conversion tab for planned order in MD04.

Pls find material details.

MATERIAL has procurement type F.

Strategy used MTS- Requirements type-sale order-KSV AND Requirements type of independent reqmts-VSFB- Planning for assemblies.

Lotsize - monthly .

pls suggest.

Please confirm if you are using MRP group ( Material master - MRP1 view).

As per my understanding the system should generate the PR with procurement type F.

If you are using the MRP group on the material master, try to remove this from Material master and again run the MRP OR check the MRP group settings in OPPR. Check for the Creation indicator.

Check the above settings to directly generate the PR after the MRP run.

Hello,

Material has external procurement type (F)  then use Create Purchase Req. field in MRP Control Parameters.

Or use the procurement type as X and then try to convert the planned orders to PRs.

What is the requirement class used in your planning strategy?

Hi Rupesh,

procurement type as X cannot be changed from F , checking with parameters used during conversion in MRP tables.

Also one query if 'F' is maintained how system created planned order .

zstrategy might be copied from 70.

Thier is no spk maintained.

Hello Sanket,

This could be because of conversion indicator in the planned order.. please ensure the planning type which system is tacking

normally for REM situation system will propose the requirements without conversion indicator

so please make the conversion tick in the MD12

and try

Another possible reason is that you are changing it with a BAdI.

Hi Caetano,

checked above note it was helpful, conversion indicator was not available in planned order and REM is not applicable .

cause for this error is BOM not available for that material.

Still same error in my case BOM is not applicable as this external procurement and This is bought out order and we will buy the completed product.

1.Conversion indicator is not set .

2. REM is not applicable .

3. BOM not applicable.

Did you check if the conversion indicator is set on the planned order? Please make sure that you check on the transaction and on the table (PLAF) level.

checked in both conversion indicator is not available.

planned order order type is NB standard purchase order.

in assignment tab sale order is available.

how can this be checked Planned order was created manually or MRP , checked various link unable to find values like LE, SA.

checked in PLAF Against BADI thier is value 2 -planned order change (requirement planning ).

Check if the BAdI MD_PLDORD_CHANGE is implemented and if the conversion indicator is being changed on your implementatio.

This problem is generally because of the conversion indicator is not ticked in the planned orders.

Have a look in the planned order. Is the Conversion indicator is ticked there.

Also have a look in the material master MRP4 view for the Repetitive profile tick mark and REM profile. If the tick is there the system will not automatically tick the conversion indicator in the planned orders.

As per my understanding, this is not suggested but try to remove this tick mark in material master and than run the MRP again and hope you will get this in MD04

Hi,

I think you are using strategy type 50 Planning with assembly.

This is FG Demand planning is happening for assembly level I guess .

Have you tried with Strategy type 40.
