No rules matched to the alert. Processing default alert rule.

Hello,

The Alert rule I defined for adapter engine errors and the file adapter is not getting triggered if the failure is due to connection error, folder erorr etc or I will say when no actually message is generate in PI.

If the same integrated config is able to pick the file and message fails anywhere else e.g mapping, receiver channel etc. It is picking the alert rule.

The probable reaon may be message does not have full header data information while selecting the rule if the PI message is not generated.

Anyone overcame this problem ???

What is the version of PI used and are you using CBMA?

PI version is 7.5. I was able to fix this by selecting all adapter options in Alert category, even they were not relevant for the rule. Thanks

• If you select no restriction then you will receive all kind of errors.
