Can NC be logged if SFC not in work

Former Member

Hello all,

I find if I want to log NC to a SFC, the SFC status must be in work. If the SFC is in queue, the add NC process will start the SFC. I wonder whether there is a way that we could log the NC and don't change the status of the SFC.

Could anyone give me some advise?

Thank you.

Best Regards,

Teson

Try using the Standalone NC Logging activity. This does not start the SFC.

Thanks, Stuart.

It does work by using the Standaolne NC Logging.

But in fact, I need to trigger the Disposition Group attached to the NC. And when I use the Standalone NC Logging, the disposition group doesn't work.

Do you have any idea about this?

Disposition Group is working for me from Standalone NC.

Make sure that:

1) the NC Client tied to your Standalone NC Activity is configured to "Do Disposition"

2) you press the Add-Done button on the Standalone NC activity

Replenishment:

The action of logging NC should trigger the disposition of the NC.
