ITSM & CHARM customization for autoconfirmation

Hi

I am after customization in Solution manager 7.1 SP12 for two requirements :

Incidents should be closed if change request completed.

Incidents should only confirmed if successor documents completed.

Till now what I did and that is not working is :

In SPRO -> sap solution manager -> capabilities -> change control management -> change request management framework -> Make settings for change transaction type.

I have configured successor and predecessor Transaction with user status and assigned actions but not sure why it's not working.

Hi,

I assume that you are creating the CR from the incident.

In that case you need to maintain the predecessor document setting as YMIN with corresponding values.

Yes, I am using CR followup from incidents.

What I want achieve is, if a followup documents created from incident then it should not confirmed until followup document completed.

If change request completed then request for change and incident should be confirmed automatically.

Hi,

Then please create the predecessor value of YMIN in ZMCR with appropriate status values.

For automatic confirmation you need to define the action and the condition of YMIN as well.

Hi,

You need to create a action definition in CRMC_ACTION_DEF.

use the method HF_SET_STATUS and use container values USER_STATUS and PREDOC_STATUS.

Then you need to define the condition for this action def to trigger in CMRC_ACTION_CONF.

When I try to define condition then there is a screen to select BADI so could you please let me know which BADI should be used.
