Hi All,
I am trying to migrate parameterized mapping from SAP PI 7.11 to SAP PI 7.5 while migrating with tool I am facing below issue.
Error | INVALID_PARAMETER_VALUE | ICO " | SYS_***_160 | ZEU_MATMAS.MATMAS03.ZEU_MATMAS03 | urn:sap-com:document:sap:idoc:messages | * | *": Number of interfaces does not match the mapping signature in ESR (2 interfaces provided, but 0 expected |
As we know SAP PI 7.5 support Multi mapping and Parameterized mapping but we are getting issue above issue.
Note:- Mapping has 2 parameters .
Warm Regards,
Rudra
Hello Rudra,
If the occurrence is 0-unbounded check if the cache is up to date.
Once we had a similar we did some change it didn't get updated.
check the occurrence first if yes just check cache as well once.

Hello Rudra,
One more thing what is the occurrence of Source message in message mapping?
It should be 0-1 or 1 as per my knowledge as your doing 1:N mapping.
And from SAP document I can see it could be due to invalid length of Parameter as well

Hi Rudra,
Can you make sure in message mapping and operation mapping and interface determination the sender occurrence is one and receiver multiplicity is 0..unbounded??
Also make sure the software component is configured in the interface determination. If it is blank you need to select the software component.
Regards,
Praveen.
These parameters which you are calling in mapping are these constants or any Adapter lookups ?
if Adapter lookups then have you reselected the Adapter of 7.5 in the Operating/message Mapping in new PO system ESR , because when you migrate the ESR from 7.1 then it holds the lookup in Mapping for the 7.1 Adapter only.
Br,
Manoj
