We used customer-material info record and configurable material. So here comes the problem , for same customer.same material, we have
different customer material number.
But according to note 626931,this is impossible to create more than one info record for a customer and a material.
Any other advice ? So that the system can automatically confirm the material and characteristic value after the user enter a customer material number .
Please suggest on this.
Thanks in advance.
Why would you have different customer material number for the same customer/material combination? Why would the customer maintain two different material numbers for the same exact product? This doesn't seem to make sense...

Ah, OK. We have exactly the same scenario. No, sorry, you can't use standard in this case.
For the orders that come in by an IDoc interface we have a user exit with Z-table, as G.Lakshmipathi mentioned above, that takes the customer material # and identifies our own material #. The customer # is moved to the description, so that CSR, who further processes the order, could enter VC correctly (we can't add VC using the same interface). When entering the orders manually, the CSRs rely on the customer's description text or their previous knowledge to enter the order correctly. But you could probably do a user exit in similar fashion using Z-table.
There is no easy solution, unfortunately. Maybe in S/4HANA? One can always hope...
In one way, you can achieve this. Try giving preceding space for one material and without space for the other material. Else, you have to go for zee table if it is really warranted.
