compare serial number

as per below link , same can be used for comparing the serial number but I am unable to do same. Can some one help here.

Hi,

Seems you are getting confused , this report cant compare  configuration it can exclude characteristic while you compare configuration for serial number.

Please use report RCI_COMPARE_CONFIGURATION for comparing configuration of two serial numbers.

Sorry for typo, its " RCU_COMPARE_CONFIGURATIONS" , try it will work now.

Also , when ever you get error for name of report or if you do not remember the exact name , you can search using astrik's *.

ex. *_COMPARE_CONFIGURATIONS or *RCU*COMPARE* ....... etc

It always work , and you will get many other reports too. Which could be useful in future. Hope it will help you.

Also, in this report you need to key in the configuration number for serial numbers. You can see all values or you can choose check box for "show only differences and it will show you only differences.

• SER00 General Header Table for Serial Number Management
• SER01 Document Header for Serial Numbers for Delivery
• SER02 Document Header for Serial Nos for Maint.Contract (SD Order)
• SER03 Document Header for Serial Numbers for Goods Movements
• SER04 Document Header for Serial Numbers for Inspection Lot
• SER05 Document Header for Serial Numbers for PP Order
• SER06 Document Header for Serial Numbers for Handling Unit-Content
• SER07 Document Header for Serial Numbers in Physical Inventory
