Hello Experts,

Good Day!! I am getting the following message error

Error when getting an FTP connection from connection pool:....Unable to create new pooled resource

Looking at it looks like connection broken with the FTP server. is there any other possible root cause to it?

Thanks in advance,

Vikas

Hi,

can you please check the below points may be it will be helpful.

1. whether the firewall setting is as expected or not.

2. user credential is correct or not

3. timeout interval

4.check whether the port is open or not.

Thanks Raghu and Sagarika. Your help really worked for FTP broken issue.

Now I am getting error for some other interface.

Transmitting the message to endpoint ......using connection File_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.service.mapping.MappingException: 204

What can be the root cause of it?

Thanks and regards,

Could be due to mapping Vikas.

what is the end-end scenario?

Hi Vikas,

Its due to mapping issue either or test data issue. Some times this error occurs due to the erroneous XML formatting. Check your mapping and ensure the test data supply is as expected.

Hi Vikas,

This is not mapping problem, because this class reside in com.sap.aii.af.svc_api.jar, so get the stack trace from log viewer to get more details about the error.

Hello Vikas,

Check if the FTP server is up and running.

It is due to connection issue.

If its new connection means check from PI network and FTP side all the ports and firewall settings are open to establish connection.

Thanks Raghu as usual for a very fast and prompt and helpful reply.

I chacked and you are absolutely right that its because of broken connecitivy.

I am getting another error as

Transmitting the message to endpoint ......using connection File_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.service.mapping.MappingException: 204

Is it also because of broken connection or something else?

Thanks in advance,

Vikas

Hello Vikas,

This is same scenario or another one?

If IE is involved check if any mapping error occurred in Moni
