TDMS central/control system multi-client capable?

Hello,

so far, we use TDMS central/control system (system ID= TDM) for TDMS only. There is one client 200 (apart from 000 and 066 clients).

We think about running SLT on TDM system, too. As far as I know, a solution manager system is not multi-client capable, for example. What about TDMS? Is a TDMS system multi-client capable in general?

Hi Anselm,

The TDMS control system can well be a multiclient system. The base configuration would lie in the clinet 000 and the settings would be coied locally to the current cleint for a loaded project / package .

Also there is no such limitation for using same control system / client for TDMS and SLT scenarios.

However you may like to check below points -

- The two solutoins should be avoided for parallel execution as it may lead to

  a .Resource bottlenecks leading to low performance.

  b. In some situations conflicts in generated runtime objects.

-  As per note 1892481 ,  the number range for the generated objects for these scenarios are adjusted in the sender system.

You may as well set up two different clients in the control system ,dedicated for each of the scenarios.
