Odata service activation

Hi All,

Frontend gateway server is NW 74 and backend ECC is EHP6. Can someone tell what is the frontend and backend component required to activate the Odata service GW_CREATE_QUOTATION_SRV in frontend server?

Hi Ranjith,

If Odata service is custom you need to add this in the gateway system, register it and activate it from transaction  : /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE.

Choose a backend system alias where the service was developed. Execute and select the service and add it. The same activity is done for standard service activation, if you dont find the service here, make sure you have activated the service in SICF node.

Sorry, I can't find the APP name related to the OData service you provided. Please give the APP name.

In addition, if you already know the APP name, please search the APP in Fiori Apps Library, then the required component in frontend and backend can be found in installation section.

thanks Ning. This was a custom service and had to create it directly in the front end server.
