Hello ,

check the database listerner running fine. If listener i snot running then check the tnsname.ora file having the correct information. If listerner & database runnig fine then then try to update DISP+work and try to start it before try to check in R3trans -d. and check the error log for more details

I was wondering why did you ask about the database? The issue is in the executables, also the same Kernel matter the User also confirmed. I think after the database started, then only the User is facing this issue.

ORA-12541 error code appears. TNS - no listener. Check if system got shut down incorrectly. Were any datafiles in backup mode?

What change you made, Kernel or Profile Parameter ?

Kernel :-

* If you made change in Kernel that is not completable for your system so you need to change the      Kernel to previous Kernel or need to upgrade to new version available for your system.

Profile Parameter :-

* If you made change in Profile Parameter please check the value of the parameter that you changed is right or not...

Hi Venkata,

I hope that you already know the process of Kernel upgrade where it says in case of JAVA we can do kernel upgrade version change from (n-8) to directly (n-2). But if it is a ABAP system, it is recommended to upgrade from (n-8) to (n-7) & then do upgrade from (n-7) to (n-6) and so on up-to (n-1).

Considering n=latest version of the kernel.

From here what I can understand is that all the EXEs not completely upgraded(all required ones not upgraded properly), and that is why you are facing this issue like this.

So, Former Member now we would here like to know what are the changes you have done recently so that the error is occurring. As the error is not exactly not pin-point showing, I assume that you have your old Kernel Backup & would be able to downgrade using the old kernel files. Suggest you to download the exact Kernel files

Would refer Note: 519753

What I think is the content of kernel may also not downloaded properly or not relevant according to the existing kernel version. So you also need to check the per-requisites for that.

Could you update your previous & present Kernel details? So, was the earlier REL version & the present EXT version?
