Microsoft update KB3185614 crashes IE

Hi

On 13th September Microsoft released update KB3185614. I have got reports from clients that this causes crashes on IE before login screen is displayed. Client system is 7.0.7 and workstation components are SP9.

I have not time to test it myself. My Windows 10 does not have this update although all updates should be installed.

After removing this update CDT started to work again.

Has anybody else had this problem?

Best regards

Madis

Hi Jukka,

We are also facing issues with SP5 system.

Microsoft update KB3185614 crashes IE

Belis is the scenario:

1. SP9 terminal works fine if the CCTR system used is already upgraded to SP9 with above microsoft patch.

2. SP9 terminal doesnt not work and causing IE to crash, if it is used for SP5 system(not upgraded) while used on Windows 10 and win 7 .

Please let us know if this is addressed.

Best Regards
