Hi All
We resolved this issue by installing WINSCP which doesn't requires SAPFTPA.
Thanks

Hi Pankaj,
Are you able to ping the blackline IP from the host you are trying to do the FTP. If you are able to resolve by IP, try to maintain the host file in /etc/services and try your process.
Thanks,
Manas

Hi Pankaj.
Are you able to resolve the DNS or host name enters in the host file ftp.blackline.com? or check the FTP host name.

Hi Sriram/Manas
Thanks for information.
a) What is difference in checking connection through filezilla, cmd or run ping. If filezilla works does it means connection is fine? Connection through filezilla works in SAP server.
b) Could this be due to firewall, If yes whose VPN or SAP server?
P.S The process of file transfer works in frontend (SAPFTP) but not backend (background jobs, SAPFTPA). Also the same credentials works in other client (different entity) but fails here.
Once again thnx for valuable inputs.
Thanks
Pankaj
